Adair departed Alton Town in February 2026 following a near 7-season spell at Anstey Park. He is highly regarded for his work at Alton, being a driving force in establishing the club where they are now.

Adair took over with the Brewers struggling at Step 6, but within two seasons they achieved promotion, and would become playoff challengers at Step 5 of Non-League. Kevin is credited for his tireless commitment and hard work at the forefront of Alton's rebuild.

The new Deans' boss will be looking to go one further in his new challenge, taking the reins at Horndean who return to Step 5 following relegation from Isthmian Football League.
